About Makkink’s Flower Farm

Over the last ten years in business, the Makkinks Flower Farm has grown to include not just sunflowers but over forty-five different varieties of pick your own flowers! Throughout the growing season, you can find everything from peonies and ranunculus in the spring to dahlias, zinnias, snapdragons, and of course, sunflowers. A few years ago they set up an on-farm shop to sell their flowers out of, as well as some other local goods like soaps, candles, and baked goods. Makkinks offers all types of pick your own bouquet experiences with “how to” lessons as well as workshops throughout the different seasons. They are excited to be adding a cafe to the farm this year as well.
