Feeling Bouquet: The Garden in Harrington at Discover Rural Oxford

Some places just make you slow down. The Garden in Harrington is one of them.

Owned and operated by Deb and Chris, The Garden in Harrington is a family cut flower farm nestled near Embro, in the heart of Oxford County. With over 120 floral varieties growing right on-site throughout the year, they specialize in growing fresh, local, and beautiful in-season flowers for every season and celebration — from a simple bouquet for an ordinary Tuesday to full wedding and event florals custom-grown just for your day.

But The Garden in Harrington is more than a flower farm. It’s also a place to experience. Visitors are welcome to come and sit on the terrace, stroll through the fields, and take in the sights and sounds of a working flower farm in bloom. The calendar of events and workshops runs throughout the season and includes farm-to-table dinners, bouquet arranging classes, stained glass workshops, and fire-lit evenings in the garden — the kind of experiences that turn a farm visit into a proper evening out.

For those who want to take something home, bouquet subscriptions, single-order bouquets, and dried flower arrangements are all available, and the on-farm market stand is open seasonally from May through October.

At Discover Rural Oxford, running September 15–17, 2026 in the Rural Pavilion at Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, Deb and Chris will be on hand with fresh cut flowers and other beautiful garden treats.

If you’d like to visit the farm itself, The Garden in Harrington is located at 336813 33rd Line in Embro, Ontario, and is open for on-farm visits May through October. Explore their full offerings, including workshops and bouquet subscriptions, at thegardeninharrington.com.
