The township was formed in 1975 after the amalgamation from the two historic townships, Blandford and Blenheim. The communities that exist within the township include: Bright, Drumbo, Plattsville, Princeton and Washington.
“Blandford-Blenheim Township is home to several notable attractions including a music theatre in a converted barn, stops along the Oxford County Cheese Trail and family entertainment. As you travel along the country roads you will see cars pulled over near several bridges, as people are out in their canoes and kayaks paddling the Nith River. Blandford-Blenheim is also very popular with cyclists who enjoy the spectacular scenery and quiet roads.” – Tourism Oxford
