In East Zorra-Tavistock we’re not just a community, we’re family. Starting with the Tavistock Coat of Arms (and now the East Zorra-Tavistock coat of arms) which showcases a factory with a smoking chimney and grain representing our many farms. The joining of industry and agriculture has always been known as “Gentes Conficimus” in East Zorra – Tavistock. It means “We families (of varied origin) accomplish (things by working) together. Or “We Accomplish Together”.
Situated just above Woodstock in the heart of Oxford County, East Zorra-Tavistock is accessible by highway, air and railway.
