Congratulations to OAFRI’s Round 2 Award Recipients

We are pleased to share an announcement from Bioenterprise Canada celebrating the success of twelve (12) Ontario-based organizations who were awarded funding in Round 2 of the Ontario Agri-Food Research Initiative (OAFRI) Commercialization Stream!

Through support from the Governments of Canada and Ontario under the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP), a 5-year, federal-provincial-territorial initiative, OAFRI is supporting the organizations in conducting market validation and product development projects, working to bring their innovative solutions to the market.

This award program recognizes the region’s tourism businesses, organizations, and individuals who have displayed excellence in product development, partnerships/collaborations, innovation, inclusiveness, leadership, sustainability, and attraction to the region. Applications are open to individuals, small businesses and non-profit organizations based in Oxford County in the categories of: -Best New Tourism Product Award -Tourism Partnership Award -Special Event of the Year Award Businesses are encouraged to self-nominate or nominate a local business they admire.
