Rural Oxford Economic Development works closely with a number of local community partners and is a proud member of the Economic Developers Council of Ontario (EDCO) and the Economic Development Association of Canada (EDAC).
Community Futures Oxford
Community Futures Oxford aims to create and preserve jobs throughout Oxford County by supporting small business development, entrepreneurship and skills training; improving access to capital for existing and new small businesses; and by providing a catalyst for community economic development initiatives.
Tourism Oxford supports the development and enhancement of tourism businesses by providing business coaching, learning opportunities: training, workshops and resources to help grow tourism businesses; by researching tourism trends and monitoring tourism statistics for Oxford County; and by collaborating with partners to work on product development and marketing.
Small Business Centre
The Small Business Centre is committed to helping small businesses start and grow. They provide guidance, resources, local connections, business programs, professional service referrals, and workshops to help you explore, connect and succeed in business.

South Central Ontario Region Economic Development Corporation
SCOR pursues a regional approach to economic development to ensure the vitality and sustainability of our communities. SCOR harnesses the region’s potential with the aim of becoming a rural economic powerhouse in Ontario and Canada.
Western Ontario Wardens' Causus
The Western Ontario Wardens’ Caucus is a united front in the province of Ontario representing over 20% of the population of the Province. WOWC advocates on behalf of the member Counties on key items such as; infrastructure, transportation, long term care, broadband, and economic development.
Economic Developers Council of Ontario
EDCO provides leadership to enhance the professional development of its members; advances economic development as a profession, and supports our municipalities in fostering economic prosperity in the province of Ontario. The Council incorporated in 1962 and it continues to evolve to support its members in the field.
Economic Developers Association of Canada
EDAC is Canada’s national organization of economic developers pursuing excellence in the field since 1968. EDAC delivers professional development coast-to-coast, including the Ec.D. – Canada’s nationally recognized designation for economic developers, networking and information sharing opportunities with a national perspective, tools and resources – both on and offline – for economic development in Canada.
