Oxford County sits in the heart of Southwestern Ontario at the crossroads of Highways 401 and 403. It is home to more than 130,000 people across eight area municipalities: Blandford-Blenheim, East Zorra-Tavistock, Ingersoll, Norwich, South-West Oxford, Tillsonburg, Woodstock and Zorra.
The County covers about 2,040 square kilometres of some of Ontario’s most productive farmland, with more than 100 km of scenic trails, County-managed woodlands, and the Oxford County Cheese Trail.
Rural Oxford’s five townships are part of the County, and work closely with it on planning, infrastructure and economic development.
Oxford County’s economy is built on agriculture, automotive manufacturing, transportation and logistics, and healthcare. Direct access to Highways 401 and 403 puts businesses within easy reach of markets across Ontario and the United States.
The County works with its area municipalities to support existing businesses as they grow, help new businesses get started, and attract new investment to Oxford.
